Beauty Vlogger Laura Lee got blasted over the internet for racist tweets she made during 2012. Laura Lee who had 4.5 million subscribers on Youtube is rapidly losing followers. Since the racist tweets surfaced saying, “How do you blindfold a Chinese person? Put floss over their eyes! #dumbgook,” Laura Lee has lost 500,000 subscribers since then reports Vox.
“Once you go Asian, you never miss an equation.”
She didn’t just target Asian people she targeted black people as well.
“Ni**as in Paris? Whaaaaat I thought they couldn’t afford to leave Compton! LOL!
“…tip for all black people if you pull ur pants up you can run from the police faster.”

The tweets came to surface after Laura Lee got into a beef with another beauty vlogger Jeffrey Star. Jeffrey Star who is the most popular beauty vlogger on Youtube with 10 million subscribers was blasted by others in the beauty community as racist. Star when on a tirade about others in the beauty community and that’s when fans of Star came to his rescue and started digging through the past of the beauty community. And that’s when the racist tweets from Laura Lee surfaced. You really got to check out the whole crazy scene and how it went down at Vox.
Since then Laura Lee did what every Social celebrity does when they do something wrong. Which is post an apology video which has garnered over 9,000,000 views.
In it, she cries and does the whole usual song and dance. She blamed her Alabama upbringing as well as her youth for the problematic tweets. She then turns to how she’s the real victim here. “…people have called my mother and threatened to kill her they’ve gotten her phone number they attacked a child of 14 year old niece they attacked her.”
What a baby. The only reason she’s apologizing is because she’s losing her fan base and tons of money. I really don’t care about this person one way or another but I did get a good laugh out of that video. Those tears are faker than her face.
Lee didn’t just lose subscribers she also lost her endorsements with Ulta, Boxycharm, Morphe, and ColourPop.
