The biggest K-Pop girl group SNSD has just confirmed their comeback is on. SNSD also known as Girls’ Generation just put out a tweet notifying their fans that they have an album coming out soon. But instead of the nine members, there will only be five members, Taeyeon, Yoona, Yuri, Sunny, and Hyoyeon. The new mini group will be called SNSD-OH!GG.
SM Entertainment their management company describes the name SNSD-OH!GG as a combination of excitement from the word OH! and GG which is one of their English abbreviations for ‘Girls Generation’. Fans, on the other hand, picked up on a different meaning first ‘OH’ which mean five in Korean which describes how many members this group is. Also OH!GG sounds like a Korean word ‘OJIDA’, which means flawless and intelligent with no one lacking.
The mini-album titled “Lil’ Touch”, will drop on September 5th, 2018 with two tracks. The first will be the same name as the album “Lil’ Touch” and the second one will be called “Fermata”. Their album dropping on September 5th also carries a special meaning the original 9 member group is now 5.
