Three men are wanted by the police for the robbery and rape of a woman in Queens, New York. Police said three men broke into a house in Little Neck on Saturday. They stole nearly $10,000 from the residence and raped a 34-year-old victim twice, according to Daily News. Surveillance video caught the suspects rushing into the house and going after the female owner. Police released the footage hoping to get help from the public in identifying the suspects.
On May 4, 2019, around 9:30 pm, three men broke into the home in the area of 251 St and 57 Ave in Little Neck, Queens. The 34-year-old woman was on her way out when the three men, one with a gun, stormed into her house.
Once inside, they gathered all six females in the house, including the victim’s 54-year-old mother and one child. The suspects demanded money and forced the women into a bedroom. One of the men stole $1000 dollars from the 34-year-old victim then raped her.
Meanwhile, one of the other suspects robbed the 54-year-old mother of $800. After, they demanded more money. Police said, the 34-year-old victim gave them $8000 more and that’s when she was raped another time by a different suspect.
The three left the house and fled in two different vehicles. The rape victim was taken to a local hospital.
Authorities released surveillance footage of the getaway vehicles. According to ABC 7, the cars are described as a light-colored four-door sedan and newer Mercedes Benz E-class. Police described the three suspects as black men around 6 feet tall.
A resident of the neighborhood, Hanna Choi, 49, told the Daily News, that the victims owned a Japanese restaurant in Long Island City. “This area is mostly houses with Asian owners, so maybe they’re targeting people that they think have money,” she said. “This is a really serious thing.”
