A rich man in China lost his cool and his girl after she rejected his marriage proposal. The incident filmed on Saturday shows a rich Chinese man outside the Wanda Plaza shopping complex in Changsha, Hunan province waiting for his girlfriend with roses, balloons, and a Lamborghini. When she arrives he gets on one knee and proposes but she tells him, “I don’t want to” and that’s when he goes ballistic reports the Daily Mail.
The man with roses in hand gets down on one knee and says, “Marry Me.” He then points to the Lamborghini and says, “I bought your favorite sports car for you.”
The girl tells him, “I’m so sorry, I don’t want to. I’m so sorry.”
His friend yells to her, “But’s he’s bought the car.”
The rich man flabbergasted says, “I have money. I can buy you as many cars as you want.”
She pulls away while he says, “Marry me, marry me. Don’t go, marry me.”
The woman yells, “So what if you have money,” as she walks away.
The man is comforted by his friends, but frustrated the man turns around and throws the roses at an onlooker.
He then goes over to a display by Yam chip manufacturer, Hongtu, and starts pushing and kicking it.
He is finally subdued by his friends and the video ends.
The video of the rich man throwing a hissy fit has gone viral in China. Many questioned the authenticity of the video claiming it was a promotional stunt.
“The whole thing seems so fake to me,” YouxiudeM416shiyougzhe said. “It is a promotional stunt?”
“Looks like they are really good performers,” 19shijidehuanyuan said.
Many believed it was faked by the property owner Wanda Group.
While others believed the video was real and they believed that is how a rich man would act when he didn’t get what he wanted. Additionally, they noted that she was lucky to have rejected him and see his real side.
